Guillermo Swerdlin

Businessman Guillermo Swerdlin served as president of Keren Hayesod in his native Mexico before immigrating to Israel in 1984. He is an active member of the Tel Aviv University Board of Governors and its Spanish-Speaking Friends Association, where his endeavors have helped garner more friends and supporters from Israel’s Spanish-speaking community. He dedicated the Sverdlin Institute for Latin American Studies at TAU five years ago and continues to support the Institute and its activities. Swerdlin has passed down his love of Israel and Tel Aviv University to the younger generations of his family. His daughter is a TAU history graduate and his granddaughter is currently pursuing an international liberal arts degree in the framework of TAU International.
